On the past and public speaking
What's holding you back? No you don't have to tell me, just think about it. What's keeping you down? It could be something simple or complex, small or vast, whatever it is. It doesn't matter. Dealing with death and grief is a normal inescapable facet of life. There is no one way to deal with it. What works for one may just make it worse for another. Deal with it in your own way. No way is right, each person is different, so it stands that no one method is universal.
There is no best way to deal with grief, the process is not universal. It's not a five step process for everyone. Some people get over it nearly instantly. This depends on how close they are to the person that passed. Others hide it and tend to the others affected more than themselves. More people go through the traditional process though. No way

Instant Gratification.
Imagine a world if you will, a world in which any gratification gained is instant. There's no delay no need to do any exceptional work to get that gratification. This would be a boring world I dare say because after all, gratification is meant to be earned or at least worked towards with a constant effort. Seems to me that the more the world advances the more people want instant gratification. It wasn't meant to be instant. Move slowly, take time to learn, and maybe you'll learn about yourself along the way. Somethings might suprise you. Other times you'll see it coming a mile away.
